The mock draft tool at first glance may be a bit daunting so this section should help clear up some of the drafting functionality and what certain things do.

Your screen will differ slightly depending if you are drafting on mobile or desktop PC, so I am going to include both screenshots so you can follow along easier.

A quick look at the Draft Suggestions screen shows you the most important information when drafting a player. This includes their stats from the past season, their projection for the upcoming season, and their latest news. We also include their draft Value, ADP, and trending ADP number.

Clicking the orange draft button will draft the player. Pressing the [X} icon to the right will allow you to ignore the player from the draft. (only available on desktop)

What is the Value number?

The Value number indicates how far above or below this player's ADP is compared to the current pick. The higher the number, the better the value. These numbers can be positive or negative, but when drafting properly the negative numbers should not be too large.

By default, the draft suggestions are sorted by value.

The trending number indicates the player's ADP and compares it to the past week. A n

Understanding Expert Analysis inside the Start Tool

Expert analysis is providing you a breakdown of REAL fantasy teams who own both players and are deciding who to start. The orange colors show you if that player is starting and the gray colors will show you if that player is benched.

Below that will be a number of the percentage of teams who is starting that player over the other player.

What Does BOTH START Mean?

Both players are starting for these team owners and are not benched at all. If both players are starting for most teams then there is a pretty high confidence that both guys should start in your lineup if there are enough open slots available.

What Does BOTH BN Mean?

The players are benched in all leagues and not starting at all. If both players are benched then neither one is a particularly great start.

Wrap Up

In this particular example from above it is showing that Kareem Hunt is a better start over James Robinson. When fantasy teams were given the choice, they chose Hunt over Robinson 24.26% of the time. However, teams that own both players tend to feel confident starting both players in their lineups, almost 37.28% of the time both players are starting.

Team Ratings & Rankings

Team ratings and rankings have been around since the early days of the fantasy assistant, but just recently overwent an overhaul when we rolled out the new design.

Team Rankings

As you can see, each team is rated and ranked from 1st to last place. The team ratings are based on each team's combined player ratings, often referred to as their FSP rating. The number 1 ranked team sets the bar for the best team and all team ratings are compared against that team. In the above picture, that would be TEAM NEER.

Team ratings are broken down into Starting Lineup or Full Roster because each provides a different picture about your team. One highlights the strength of your starting lineup while the other emphasis the deepest team in the league. Both are important and a team who has a great starting lineup but a poor bench means they are just an injury awa

Finding Free Agents

The find free agents section shown below automatically showcases some of the top free agent picks that we could find. Clicking the top arrows will show you more potential free agents.

The number in green showcases their Player Ratings (FSP). The numbers included alongside the player is their projection for the day or week, depending on your settings.

Various Ways to Research Free Agents

There are also various ways to find free agents. In the above example for the NBA it shows Waivers, Projections, and MPG Leaders. You'll also notice that the players you own are included in these sections so you can compare where your player's fit in versus the free agent pool.

So what makes each section different and why are they useful?

In the Waivers section we combine their recent performance numbers with their trending ownership percentages. We call this their F+ rating, and players are sorted by this number by default. This will highlight players who have been on a hot streak recently, have been climbing in ownership, or a combination of both.

In the Projections section we are looking at their future performance expectations across various categories. This section is especially useful when determining which players have easy or hard matchups

How to get the most out of Projections

Our projections are absolutely critical when it comes to setting lineups and making roster moves. This article will discuss two types of projections: Point based projections that you typically see in an NFL league and category based projections that you typically see in all other sports.

All projections will showcase a range in each box in the form of a simple line graph for your position or category. We will go more in depth as to what that means below and how to best utilize that information.

Projections in this section are either Weekly/Daily or Season Projections to see how your team would currently perform if you started these players from today until the end of the season.

| We highly suggest putting an emphasis on Weekly or Daily Projections rather than Season Projections. If you concentrate on the week-to-week then your season projections will take care of themselves.
