Overview of the Fantasy Sports AI Expert

Consider the Fantasy AI Expert as your personalized fantasy sports coach. It is the first of its kind across the fantasy sports industry developed here at FantasySP in the Summer of 2024.


We suggest the first thing you do is always a Team Audit so you can get a sense of how your team compares to the rest of your league and where things stand. Then feel free to ask our AI any follow up questions on its analysis.


Our Fantasy AI Expert understands the dynamics of your team, your league settings and who is a free agent. It can do all of the research on your behalf that would typically take hours and shrink it down into mere seconds. Our AI Expert is trained for the MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL.


So you probably want to know what it can do, right? Let's dive into some of the features it has today and how to find it.


As of August 2026 the following features are available:

  • Team Audit - an in depth analysis of your team's strengths and weaknesses with actionable advice.
  • Waiver Advice - select up to 5 players you are thinking about picking up and our expert will let you know who is the best fit
  • Trade Suggestions - (Inside the Fantasy Assistant) We analyze teams in your league and suggest up to 5 impactful trades you can make
  • Recaps of your Week or Day for your team
  • Player Research - In depth analysis for any player
  • Trade Breakdowns (Via the trade analyzer) that understand your league rules and rosters to help determine if a trade is fair.

How to Access our Fantasy AI Expert


The Fantasy AI Expert can be found inside the Fantasy Assistant. You must import your league to gain access to our tool. We support NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL.

Each request requires at least one credit to accomplish the task.


Player Research


Our AI is an expert on literally every single player in the fantasy sport of your choice. It can do an in depth breakdown of career stat comparisons, key moments this season, injury news, and how it impacts their fantasy outlook moving forward. Fantasy baseball has a lot of minor league players to keep track of and when they might be called up. Our AI understands both pro and minor league players. It can provide an overview and summary of their career so far and when they might get the call up to the big leagues.


Our model will continuously evolve and is constantly getting smarter. Examples included here may be different than what you experience.


We have included an example of what you should expect to see from our AI Assistant when you research players.

Team Recaps


Staying on top of how your fantasy team is performing is a monumental task. Sometimes the stat line at the end of the week doesn't tell the full story. Our team recaps can summarize the current week, yesterday, or last week so you can get caught up with the latest news, injuries, and performances. Plus recommendations on what to do next.

Waiver Research


We have developed a brand new section inside the Fantasy Assistant to help you seek out potential waiver pickups and break down up to 5 players in one shot. There is a new button inside of our "Find Free Agents" section called AI Advice. Once clicked, it brings up a list of players we have automatically collected based on trending ownership percentages, stats, and projections. Of course, you can always add any free agent to the list.


Our Expert will break down each potential waiver wire addition and let you know if it makes sense considering your league settings and roster needs. Plus it will prioritize the list of players for you and suggest who to drop. This type of personal advice is not available anywhere else and is an absolute game changer!


Waiver Breakdowns


Team Audit

A comprehensive breakdown of your team is available on demand. It will answer the age old question of "So what do you think of my team?". Wonder no more. Don't bother posting a screenshot of your roster on reddit and ask people what they think. Our AI Expert will go in depth and compare you against all other teams in the league.


It will break down your roster into tiers, identify strengths and weaknesses, provide waiver suggestions (and who to drop) based on the top available players, and finally a team outlook with specific advice on what to look out for and improve.


This is a great resource for you to check in and get a health check for your team and some general direction on next steps.
